"Gavin Newsom, in defending himself in the PaneraGate scandal, uses the same facial expressions he made while SF mayor when he got caught and tried to lie out of it. Watch this clip. He’s the same guy who would said “my dog ate my homework” and blamed anyone but himself. The only thing he’s gotten slightly better at since then is lying. His lies and denials are a lot polished and he’s less likely to go off on journalists as he did here. That said, Newsom blacklists any journalist who makes him feel uncomfortable, which makes it very tough to hold him accountable as the exceptional local journalist did in this old video. Let’s never forget the person he is."
