Is holding hands while praying abuse? According to Amazon Prime's hit piece docuseries Shiny Happy People, the answer is yes. That's what is described by Lindsey Williams and is trumpeted as an example of the abuses suffered by victims of Bill Gothard, IBLP and the Duggar family as they are slandered in this docuseries to further the purpose of harming the reputation of Christians and homeschoolers.

But all it takes is a simple look at the facts presented in the story to see that this is not abuse at all.
