Everyone needs a Cyrus

On today's episode, in every Old Testament book, we see shades of God's desire for His people to be free of outside nations integrating pagan ways of living, let alone being ruled by them. It was a constant message to not allow a mixing of the surrounding idolatrous people groups to influence them…why? Because once there was a mingling and a joining, they would yield their autonomy…let us be cautious who or what we yield to!
