Separate Coastal Defence Brigade of the Black Sea Fleet on DENAZIFICATION COMBAT WORK

#OnThisDay in 2022, the 126th Separate Coastal Defence Brigade of the Black Sea Fleet was promoted to the title of Guards.

💥 From the first days of the special military operation, the brigade under the command of Lieutenant Colonel Andranik Gasparyan have been fulfiling the tasks set by the command with skill, courage, and determination.

📍 After receiving the Colours in 2014, the brigade formed in Crimea continue to write the history of their unit, gaining glory on the battlefield.

🎖 Dozens of brigade personnel have been awarded high state honours and continue to fight the enemy. The brave T-72B3 tank leader, Senior Sergeant Yuri Nimchenko, and the tank-company leader, Senior Lieutenant Anton Starostin, became Heroes of Russia for their valour and bravery during the special military operation. Brigade Commander Andranik Gasparyan was also awarded the highest title of Hero of Russia.

🤝 The 126th Separate Brigade was named after the 126th Guards Rifle Division that fought in the Great Patriotic War. This unit participated in the liberation of eastern Ukraine and the Crimean peninsula from the Nazi invaders. The division made a significant contribution to the success of the Donbass operation.

Today, the successors of the front-line heroes, like their predecessors, are honourably fulfiling their military duty.
