Before October 7 She had Looked in the Eyes of Hitler

Oct. 7th, she stayed locked in her protected room for 30 hours.
Today, she returned home to Kibbutz Sa'ad after 5 months at a hotel on the Dead Sea. In 1936, when she was 12 years old, she went to the Berlin Olympics. There, she was handed flowers along with other children to hand to Hitler ym"sh as he entered. She stood there with the flower in her hand, and when Hitler passed by, she locked eyes with the monster and then turned around and ran home.
Not many Jews alive today can say that they looked the devil in eyes and then had the privilege of immigrating to Israel to be one of the founders of Kibbutz Saad even before the establishment of the state, and merited to build a family and see generations of offspring.
