NYC adding National guard after democrat policies destroyed NY safety

Governor Hochul decided to put the national guard in NYC subways to deal with the rise in crime. Note, she has not spoken about reversing the "no bail" bill passed by the Democrat controlled NY senate. Nor, has she spoke about pushing borough DA's to prosecute more crimes that they have stopped prosecuting, mainly quality of life laws. Which has allowed some violent crimes to get by.
The logic of researching and seeing what worked only 20 years ago seems to be an unpracticed skill within the mayor & governors offices. It also does not help that both these offices have made it harder to fight crime and have incentivized criminal activity. Then add-on the migrant issue also started by democrats. Former cuckoo mayor Deblasio took it upon himself to call NYC a "sanctuary city". He didnt ask if thats what the city wanted. Now they are increasing crimes as well.
Store chains are leaving NYC, local stores are closing down, because of shoplifting and its way too expensive to live in. They keep bringing in migrants, they dont fix the issue, they just add on bandaid here, one bandaid there that does not help.
