V.A. Secretary tried ordering the removal of iconic photo

The photo called, "V-J Day in Times Square".
R. Nelson of the v.a tried banning the famous WW2 photo of a soldier kissing a woman after Japan surrendered & WW2 had ended. The lack of understanding displayed by this woman is astounding. It takes a moment of thought to imagine, you and your friends are fighting a war for 4 years, many of them are dead, you have been away from home for years. Fighting in trenches, fighting at sea on a ship, storming beaches, pushing the Japanese back and not knowing when it'll be over if ever. Suddenly, Japan finally does, the emotions must've been crazy. People hugging, kissing, celebrating. The image is an iconic one because it symbolizes the moment.
The woman in the photo, a dental hygienist, stated in the past it was sudden but she didn't mind it at all. It was a celebration. Also keep in mind there were other women who claimed to be the girl. As well as men who claimed to be the sailor. Suffice it to say, there was a lot of kissing going on that day. And none of them claimed to have been assaulted.
But as usual, liberals target our history, they do not care about anything. And attack everything American. This woman should not be in charge of anything in the VA if that's the level or her thinking.
