Trump post $91M bond in E. Jean Carroll defamatory case as he appeals

Donald Trump has posted a bond of more than $91 million as he appeals the verdict in a civil defamation case brought by writer E. Jean Carroll. The bond guarantees Carroll will be paid the full amount plus interest if Trump's appeal fails. The former president posted the bond one day after a federal judge rejected his request to push back Monday’s deadline to pay Carroll.
