The same authorities responsible for the Covid-19 pandemic response worldwide, have been getting away for decades with causing harm to the world's poorest. The story of vulnerable children in New York City being experimented on with lethal anti-HIV trial drugs is one example of many. The poorer we are, the more vulnerable we will be to these Mengelian experimenters. Protecting human health always involves protecting the economy. That we were told otherwise has sinister connotations.
