Birddog Training - Bird break with Hank (intro to birds)

In this video we will be introducing our 27 week old German shorthair puppy to birds for the first time. This is how we allow the dog to get comfortable, in their own time, with the birds. We move as fast or slow as the dog is able. The goal is to fully engage the dogs prey drive, after this is complete we will use that drive to complete a gun break on the dog.
