Putin Wants Alaska Back!

Alaska has a unique history involving both Russia and America. It was originally inhabited by indigenous peoples before being colonized by Russia in the 18th century. In 1867, Russia sold Alaska to the United States in what's known as the Alaska Purchase. This acquisition was controversial at the time but has since proven to be strategically significant for the United States, particularly in terms of natural resources and geopolitical positioning.
