Highlights - Round 1 - Puerto Rico Open

The PGA TOUR will be in Puerto Rico this week as the Grand Reserve Golf Club hosts the Puerto Rico Open in a two-event weekend for the TOUR. Nico Echavarria will look to successfully defend his maiden TOUR title and be the first player to go back-to-back in Puerto Rico. He played well to claim T21 at the Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches last week and finished T24 at Mexico Open at Vidanta two weeks ago. K.H Lee will be in Puerto Rico this week. He played well for a T4 finish last week at the Cognizant Classic and will look to claim this third PGA TOUR title with a win. Rasmus Højgaard will also be in the field. His missed cut at PGA National ended a consecutive cuts-made streak of 12 worldwide, the previous seven of which were top-11 finishes. The winner of the Puerto Rico Open will be looking to nab the final spot into THE PLAYERS Championship next week. Others to look out for are Joel Dahmen, Kevin Kisner and Robert MacIntyre.
