Why BDCs Could Be in Trouble

Recently there’s been a lot of speculation about what the future holds for business development companies, along with the high dividend yields they offer. Last month an article was published on Seeking Alpha, titled “An Important Warning for BDC Investors” which outlines some concerns this author has about the sector. But really most of the points in this article are the same concerns I’ve seen some people have about BDCs for awhile. To be fair, some of the concerns investors have I think are legitimate threats to this sector. So in this Patreon requested video, we’ll go over some of the main concerns outlined in this article and just what I’ve been seeing people comment on and discuss about these investments.
