Welcome to my first deep dive into the Final Fantasy series. This time we'll look at the popular fan theory that Final Fantasy VII takes place in the same universe as Final Fantasy X, years after the fact. The theory goes that FFVII's people originated on FFX's Spira, having migrated after the stars, and eventually learning how to harvest Mako energy.

I thought this would be an interesting topic to cover, consider the next installment of Final Fantasy VII Remake is coming out soon.
