Female Journalist Scammed Out of 50k

Female Financial Advice columnist for The Cut, Charlotte Cowles, revealed in a recent piece that she was scammed of 50,000 dollars by a man posing as a government investigator. She wrote a long piece in The Cut about her harrowing experience. The good news is that it’s a well-written, riveting article. The bad news is that Ms. Cowles is out 50k and can’t get it back.
