Mega Man 4 is a 2D, action-platform game developed by Capcom for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) in 1991. It is the fourth game in the original Mega Man series.
In the game, Mega Man must navigate eight stages, defeat each Robot Master, and face off against Dr. Cossack, a mysterious Russian scientist who has released an army of robots to take over the world. Mega Man 4 is the first game in the series where it is not known that Dr. Wily is the villain. The game also features the New Mega Buster, an improved version of Mega Man's Mega Buster.
