The Revenge of Shinobi is a 2D, side-scrolling action platformer game developed and published by Sega for the Sega Genesis in 1989. It's the second game in the Shinobi series and the first Shinobi game developed for the Genesis

In the game, the player controls a ninja master, as he travels the world to avenge his master and save his bride. The game is set three years after the first Shinobi game, where the criminal organization Zeed has reformed and renamed themselves "Neo Zeed"
