The state of Washington is setting up a hate speech hotline where callers can receive up to $2,000 for snitching on people who offend them. Ireland is working on a bill that would criminalize even the possession of materials considered to be hate speech. In Canada, you can be arrested if the government believes you might use hate speech or commit a hate crime in the future.
