Polar Bear Diaries - My Coming Out Story

I wrote this in 2006 for a university sociology course I was taking at the time. The assignment was to write an autoethnography about the most difficult thing I ever experienced. Prior to Trump joining politics, coming out as gay in high school in the 90s was the most difficult experience of my life. I have to say that coming out as a Trump supporter has been far more difficult and I continue to resist enormous oppression for that that far surpasses anything I ever experienced as a result of being gay. #comingoutstory #gayteen #autoethnography
