Like A Rock - Camp Freedom - Wellington, NZ - 2022

On February 6h, 2022 (Waitangi Day, NZ), convoys from the top of the North Island and bottom of the South Island commenced their 3 day journey to meet at Parliament in Wellington NZ, to protest the Labour Government's Lockdown and Vaccine Mandates.

The protest on Parliament Grounds lasted 23 days before NZ Police violently shut down the protest, which had grown in stature, popularity and people was affectionately known as Camp Freedom.

I couldn't make it to Wellington to experience the event and support my countrymen and women, however soon after Camp Freedom was disbanded, I rewrote the lyrics to Bob Seger's Like A Rock and went into the studio to record the track, and in addition to that, I created the video for the track and this is the end result, with your truly featuring in a cameo at the very end.

To my Kiwi brothas and sisters, thank you for holding the line.

You made the rest of New Zealand proud.
