AFU's disorderly escape from Avdeyevka. Report from a POW

13.03.24 - We have already shown footage of the AFU's disorderly escape from Avdeyevka. Today, a captured Ukrainian serviceman has told us how it was.

Sergey Tereshchuk surrendered to Russian servicemen in February 2024. He spent about a month near Avdeyevka. While fleeing the city, Tereshchuk's detachment did not even know in which direction to retreat.

'We didn't know the road back, because we got to the position at night. We spent there 21 or 22 days. But people on the other position knew the way back. They said that these people would lead us out. We moved out from the lake to Avdeyevka. All of us gathered and we started moving along the road. Two of us walked in the front. Me and the other man walked in the middle and two men went behind us. When we were shot at, we turned right. There was a three-storey building. We asked the men to stop shooting. We dropped our weapons, raised our hands, and surrendered', said Sergei Tereshchuk. Source
