Planning + Planting With Me // Gardening Tour // Spring Vlog

IT’S THAT TIME OF YEAR!

Do you hear it?

The birds chirping? The grass growing quietly from underneath the brisk mornings, still covered with remnants of the winter chill…

I was never really a fan of spring. The manic days that flip flop from winter’s cold to early summer’s warmth. The allergies from the pollen afloat through the air. The yearning for berries, and smoothies; but, too cold to really commit to cooler, summer foods yet.

But, a few years ago, I began taking an interest in gardening. I don’t believe I am very good at it; although, I have had some luck with an amazing crop of green beans one year, a wonderful bounty of zucchini another.

The dirt under my fingernails used to make me wince. Now, I enjoy the practice of “earthing” or “grounding,” as some call it. Touching, kneading, and feeling the dirt. The calming, and almost effect of realignment to my center it hath brought!

If you are a gardener, whether a noob, or experienced, I implore you to chat about it in the comments below. Offer some tips! Gather and unload any information here! I’m an ever-learner and love the trials and tribulations of gardening.

And.. of course, the fruits of the labour!

Every year, I like to do a “spring and summer series” where I highlight my gardening attempts, any gardening, indoor/outdoor diy’s, and some lifestyle videos concerning fashion, decluttering, and all the vibes. But, alas! Don’t worry, my writer +reading friends. I’ll still be posting content geared to writing when the time comes. I.e. Writing & Productivity Livestreams each week, (I promise! We will watch our 5 minutes break times!), plus bonus Live Events, Camp Nano - April, Camp Nano - July, and of course my next book release. Oh, and a little tweety bird is whispering in my ear that I’ll be doing some giveaways soon too!
