In episode #9, Adam and Cory debate District 9 (ooh, fun coincidence). What was meant to be an adaptation of the video game mega-franchise, Halo, District 9 tells the story of an alien village built among the slums of Johannesburg, South Africa. While cat-food-eating aliens are a new take on this genre, District 9 goes deeper than your typical sci-fi movie. With added elements of action, horror, brief comedy and a healthy dose of symbolism, this is a film that has something for everyone. Is it enough to be included among the all-time best sci-fi flicks?
