It's Not Funny Anymore! Men Wearing Women’s Clothing Goes Back Farther Than You Think Goes Back Farther Than You Think. Crossdressing.
See, once upon a time, this was funny.
We knew it was a man dressed up as a woman, but this scheme was headed somewhere.
Even during the times of Shakespeare men were dressing up as women to play the roles of women.
But this goes back even further….

Some men have been dressing up as women since before the book of Deuteronomy was written. This is approximately 1400 BC to around 700 BC. Seems to be differences as to when it was written but you get my point,
it was a long time ago that this particular issue has been going on.
So much so, that God says it is an abomination.
I’m going to show you the Bible verse. So what we see with examples like Geraldine or Madea was once thought to be comedy and harmless.

Watch this, it’s simply just a man wearing a woman’s garment, right?

I know about the occult ties with it being an initiation of sorts, we’ve heard that countless times, but let’s keep it simple at a level that everyone can understand,
let’s keep this real simple.

A man wearing woman clothes. Period.

What I’d like to do today is pose a question.
And it’s a serious question.
Does it matter to you what God says?

This will include men dressing up as women.
Because God wasn’t joking when He said this…

Deuteronomy 22:5
The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man,
neither shall a man put on a woman's garment:
for all that do so are abomination unto the LORD thy God.

Now we all know that if a woman wears pants they wear those pants, for the most part,
in a way that pertains to a woman.
But some don’t that’s why women are included in this verse but,

my focus is on the next part…….
“neither shall a man put on a woman's garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the LORD thy God. “
