Kingdom Business

If we're entrepreneurs, we ply our craft in a trade or a business for gain. There's really no reason to go into business unless you expect to make a profit. And the things that we do in our businesses, no matter what our business is, we do to profit from those activities. But another thing that we should look at, which I believe is inherent, if not explicitly stated, is that business should be transformational for the clients and the customers that we serve. Creating a work product or providing a service, is transformational and biblical. Running a business It is one way that we serve others. And it's also one way that we influence others. Pastors don’t talk about how to do business for the kingdom of God in the marketplace. But if we look at scripture, we discover that the gospel was spread via the marketplace by businesspeople and tradespeople — entrepreneurs.
