台灣眼科羅英源醫師表示,長輩經常有白內障困擾,建議透過飲食調整,有效延緩白內障發生。

羅英源分享,柑橘類水果、深綠色蔬菜、堅果、魚類等食物,有助於可以延緩白內障。
1.柑橘類水果防禦自由基
羅英源指出,維他命C是一種強大的抗氧化劑,能有效保護眼睛免受自由基的損害,維持眼部組織健康。柑橘類水果及草莓等,都是維他命C豐富來源。
2.深綠色蔬菜補充維他命A
缺乏維他命A會提升白內障的風險。他建議可以多吃一些紅蘿蔔、菠菜、南瓜等橙色和深綠色蔬菜,這些都是維他命A的優良來源。
3.堅果和種子減緩眼部氧化
堅果和種子如杏仁、核桃以及亞麻籽富含抗氧化物質,這些物質能有效減緩眼部組織的氧化過程,有助於維護眼睛的整體健康。
4.魚類保持眼部組織靈活
富含Omega-3脂肪酸的魚類如三文魚、沙甸魚和鯡魚,對眼部健康非常重要。這些脂肪酸能維護眼睛組織的靈活性,從而減緩白內障的進展。
