How PED's Cause Liver Cancer

In this video, I review the history of research on androgens causing liver tumors and liver cancer. I discuss the early clinical reports on androgens used to treat Fanconi's anemia and survey later research on other anemias and non-anemic diseases treated with androgens. In all, 97 cases of liver tumors and cancers were reported from medical androgen use, with 6 of them occurring with injectable testosterones or nortestosterones. I also discuss theories on the way androgens damage the liver molecularly and outline the two factors that make an androgenic drug more likely to cause tumors and cancers.
