Cold Cases by a High School Class investigative team

My best friend is the 2nd case they discuss. It starts at 39 minutes in. The audio is horrible, so please turn it up to hear these young ladies discussing the murder of my BFF's daughter in front of her two babies. They mention that the Mom found her way to a friend's house. Well, I was that friend. She doesn't even remember how she got here and by God's Grace, I had OVERSLEPT that day for the first time in over a year, so I was home. She burst into the bathroom screaming and falling on the floor holding her phone. She was screaming "My baby is dead! My baby is dead!", and I grabbed the phone from her and yelled "who the f*ck is this?" and it was the coroner on the phone, who told me what happened. My BFF has the worst PTSD from this, but has literally held it together for over a decade because she has custody of her two grandbabies who witnessed their mother being shot to death. The oldest child was just under 3 years old, but he did see it and I'm quite sure he knows who it was, but has been able to block it out. He used to shut down completely when asked. I relive that day along with my friend every year on Feb. 20th. Although she died on Feb. 19th, my friend was notified on the 20th, so we consider that the day of reckoning and the day her life changed forever. It really is an amazing program. The presentation is well done, but the audio needs some fixing (which I will suggest to them).
