David Foucachon is an entrepreneur and passionate advocate of free market medical reform. He currently serves as the CEO of Veritas Surgery, a multi-specialty direct care surgery group that he co-founded with Dr. Matthew Abraham in 2022 with the goal of serving self-funded buyers in the Pacific Northwest. In 2022 he launched the Idaho chapter of the Free Market Medical Association--an organization that is dedicated to promoting price transparency and free market solutions in healthcare. He was recently elected to the board of directors of Samaritan Ministries, a healthcare cost sharing ministry that serves 270,000 members. David and his wife Anne live in Moscow, Idaho with their five children and one intractable husky who earns his keep hauling backpacking gear deep into the snowy mountains of North Idaho.
