The Idaho legislators are discussing a bill that would prevent local governments from enacting, maintaining, or enforcing ordinances or resolutions that would compel property owners to participate in such optional programs or regulate rent, fees, or deposits. Basically cities or counties would not be able to force property owners to accept section eight housing funding or vouchers for tenants.
