A case in point is new law set to take effect in Scotland that will jeopardize the free speech of actors and comedians.

In effect the law targets hate speech. Hate speech, as you know, is a vague and relative term that can mean almost anything. Therefore, most anything can be considered hate speech and therefore be deemed illegal and punishable under Scottish law.

This is what happens when we allow the woke left to presume control.

Say, for example, you say you are a Trump supporter.
Trump has been vilified as a racist and acknowledging your preference for the 'Orange Man ' can make persons of color uncomfortable.

Now, imagine the woke left using the new law to crack down on Scotsmen. In a short time Scotland will be known as the most hateful country on earth by virtue of the magnitude of complaints and arrests.

That's ok with the woke left. Similar laws will begin popping up all over the world
