Deuteronomy Chapter 9 is about God reminding Israel, through Moses, that it is not because of their righteousness that they are blessed and also a reminder about how they worshipped the Golden Calf in the desert and angered the Lord. Moses reminds God about His faithful servants: Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
