PEANUT BUTTER PIE RECIPE
12 oz peanut butter of your choice.
1 qt. vanilla ice cream, softened a little
Mix the peanut butter and ice cream together until well incorporated
Pour into a graham cracker pie crust.
Place in the freezer immediately for a minimum of 4 hours.
Remove from freezer about 10 minutes before serving so it can begin to soften and be easier to slice.
Drizzle chocolate and/or butterscotch syrup over the pie slices.
We used the creamy peanut butter but crunchy would be delicious as well and would give an added texture.
We bought a graham cracker crust for convenience. You could make your own crust if desired. A chocolate crust would also be very good.
You could garnish the whole pie rather than individual slices if desired.
The peanut butter ice cream filling is great by itself or garnished with chocolate and/or butterscotch syrup and/or peanuts.
