Parables of Jesus – Talk #13

In this talk we discuss the parable in Luke 5:36–39 where Jesus insists that new wine must be put into new wineskins, because new wine cannot be successfully contained in an old wineskin. Jesus suggests, by analogy, that the new teaching he brings cannot be successfully incorporated into the old attitude and practices of the Pharisees.
