De-Dollarization Continues: BRICS Ambassador Says Dollar Dominance Will End Soon

South Africa’s BRICS Ambassador Anil Sooklal said the days of a US dollar-controlled world will "soon end." That's the attitude and plan from the BRICS alliance, which has been working on its own gold-backed currency to supplant the dollar. De-dollarization has become increasingly popular as an idea in recent years as the U.S. government has been printing money at an astounding rate to cover excessive spending, debt and inflation. The currency's value is in a free-fall as a result. Americans are feeling the effects of a declining dollar, but we also need to prepare for the de-dollarization movement and the increasingly-strong chances BRICS could come through with a new monetary system. The War on Cash by our own government is not helping the situation either.
