Repairing Dirty Painted MIG Welds

This video is on the repairing of dirty, painted, welds that may also have porosity in them. It is also equally effective for repairing any other welds from any other process, TIG or stick that needs to be cleaned up, and re-worked. In this case my brother-in-law Keven Berns is working with his best friend Jeff Wood, on Keven’s son Colton Berns #307 Amsoil Championship Off-road 1600 buggy. Colton started racing at the Crandon 50th annual race in 2019 so 2024 will be Colton’s sixth season in the seat of this 1600 buggy. He has come a long ways and finished fourth in points the 2023 season, his sponsorship has been growing steadily every year, which helps greatly as any racer will tell you, it takes money to race, and it is really helpful when it’s not all coming out of your families pocket.
