Sad day for Canada

Yesterday, Royal Newfoundland Constabulary officers on horseback pushed back fisherman protesting outside the Confederation Building in St John's Newfoundland.

At least one protester was seriously injured. He suffered a broken hip and was taken by paramedics to hospital.

Riot police were at the Confederation Building early this morning and the fisherman protest is continuing today.
