Colonel AC. Oguntoye's briefing on the progress of the special military operation on March 23, 2024, are as follows:

Continued Operations: The Russian Armed Forces persist in their military efforts across multiple directions in Ukraine.

Kupyansk Direction: The Zapad Group of Forces engaged and repelled Ukrainian forces near Sinkovka, inflicting losses on the 32nd Mechanised Brigade and destroying military vehicles and artillery systems.

Donetsk Direction: The Yug Group of Forces achieved significant tactical gains, including the liberation of Krasnoye and inflicting considerable losses on various Ukrainian brigades across multiple locations. Multiple Ukrainian attacks were also successfully repelled.

Avdeyevka Direction: The Tsentr Group of Forces captured more advantageous positions, hitting Ukrainian manpower and hardware intensively and repelling numerous counter-attacks. Significant Ukrainian military assets were destroyed in counter-battery operations.

South Donetsk Direction: The Vostok Group of Forces improved their situation on the front line, delivering fire damage to Ukrainian forces near several locations and repelling an enemy attack, resulting in Ukrainian casualties and vehicle losses.

Kherson Direction: The Dnepr Group of Forces targeted Ukrainian brigades near Rabotino and Tokarevka, destroying military vehicles and artillery systems, and engaged critical military assets and personnel in numerous areas.

Air Defence Effectiveness: Russian air defence systems successfully downed a significant number of Ukrainian UAVs and intercepted HIMARS and Vampire MLRS projectiles.

Cumulative Losses: The report detailed the extensive losses incurred by Ukrainian forces since the beginning of the operation, including aircraft, helicopters, UAVs, armored vehicles, artillery systems, and other military equipment.
