Once Were Journalists - Sunday LIFT with Dylan Oakley, 24 March 2024

Following on from last Sunday where I shared my interview with 7 News, in today's Sunday LIFT I take opportunity to share my interview with Federal MP, Bert van Manen.

It was 6 May 2022 and Queenslanders were enduring the sweltering heat of unconscionable Covid 'vaccine' mandates. My friend, Daryl, and I went and asked the hard questions of our federal MP who was in a local park doing a 'meet and greet.'

Here we were — two men stripped of our livelihoods — doing the work of journalists and independent media at a time when the mainstream media were nothing more than the propaganda arm of rogue governments.

This interview also contributes to the volume of historical records, of righteous resistance to tyranny, that all Australians can be proud of.

The peak Covid tyranny years were arguably the darkest years in our free and fair nation's history, and yet there was a shining light in the righteous resistance that rose up in this nation.

Our combined efforts — though mercilessly censored and suppressed at the time by rogue governments and their regime media — will provide enduring inspiration and redemptive solace for the generations who later study this dark era of intoxicating fear, abuse of power, and shameless profiteering at an unprecedented global level.
