Complaining that the St. Mary's County Maryland Board of Commissioners can't fund a non-government group that provides food, clothing, shelter, medicine, and counseling for the homeless, addicted and down on their luck people, Commissioner Mike Hewitt led the charge to block any funds for THE MISSION because they have 'religion, bibles, preaching.'
