Moscow terror attack: "dozens dead" after mass shooting

At least 40 people have been killed at a concert hall near Moscow after an attack by unknown gunmen armed with automatic weapons, Russian media are reporting.

A group of men could seen shooting at concertgoers at the Crocus City Hall arena in videos published by Russian Telegram channels. The footage showed the bodies of a number of people lying on the ground.

The shooting began just before a concert by Picnic, a Russian rock group. A large fire also broke out at the venue as the panicked audience rushed for the exit. At least five assailants are believed to have been involved. It is unclear who was behind the attack.
