I was in the infield that day. I didn't find out what happened until I got back to Myrtle Beach. I already had tickets for the race at Rockingham. It was cold and raining that day. Dale Jr. turned his car into the wall on lap 3 so I left and went back home. I called the cable company and cancelled my subscription and I haven't been to a race or watched television since. I had just quit racing after breaking my neck racing on the local Nascar Circuit in 1999 and getting put into the wall the exact same way my first race after surgery.,
