Coast Guard executes Operation Vigilant Sentry in the Caribbean Basin

Coast Guard members share their experiences Mar. 22, 2024, while enforcing federal law at sea as part of Operation Vigilant Sentry. Collaborating closely with federal partners, efforts in fiscal year 2023 led to the interception of 11,955 migrants, prioritizing their rescue from hazardous conditions and deterring unlawful activity.
