J. Sachs: on terrible miscalculations of the US trying to bring Russians to their knees

Jeffrey Sachs flew to Turkey to discuss with Turkish diplomats what was going on. The US put an end to the negotiations on agreement between Russia and Ukraine back in December, 2021.
The U.S. stopped the agreement. Why? Because they thought, “We’ll win. We can bleed Russia, our sanctions, cutting them out of the banking system. We’re going to bring them to their knees.”
