The City Gate Messianic Bible Study - Mattiyahu (Mat) chapter 5
Brief Summary. Yeshua of Nazareth is indeed the long awaited Messiah King of the Jews as foretold by the ancient Hebrew prophets. He came to reveal how to enter the "Kingdom of Heaven."

Purpose. It is very obvious that the Gospel of Mattiyahu was written for the purpose of revealing that the man Yeshua of Nazareth was actually the King of the Jews, the long awaited Messiah. The King of the Jews, the Messiah Yeshua fulfilled every prophecy that was spoken about Him in the ancient Jewish Scriptures, in the TANAK “Old Testament”.

Mattiyahu (Mat) 5:1-48 the breakdown of the chapter so you can understand v48.
1) The “B” Verse 1-12 The teaching Yeshua gave to them starts out with what some people call the Beatitudes
2) 13-16 the light
3) 17-19 The perfect 100%
4) 20-32 points of the law
5) 33-37 vows are simple
6) 38-44 becoming the servant
7) 45-48 now that you know all that be perfect of at least try to.
