Since the first Assassin's Creed game came out 17 years ago, I've played every one of them. But my girlfriend hadn't played any of them until today. So we fired up the first game and started playing. I must say, it wasn't quite as I remembered it. All great stories have a beginning, but this one just didn't age well on modern hardware.
