Latest Progress on our Budget Homestead in Texas

Bought this house in Texas in June of 2023. It's on an acre lot, 1400 square feet and in horrible condition. Nothing electrical worked in the house, the floors were dangerous to traverse, the well pumps had been removed, the ceiling leaked, no heat, no air-conditioning, no water, and there was years of overgrowth everywhere. In this video I show the current condition of the home after working on it for a few months. If you are thinking of homesteading somewhere just remember, it can be a lot of work... But more importantly it comes with a lot of rewards!!!
