Albanians moved to neighboring Kosovo after the Ottoman victory. Like in Bosnia-Herzegovina, large numbers of Albanians converted to Islam to make life under the Ottoman rule easier on themselves. Serbs and Greeks who would have suffered at least as bad, probably worse than Albanians, clung to their Eastern Christianity! I would also like to praise others conquered for hundreds of years by the Ottoman Empire, and defending Christian Europe; mostly rejecting conversion to Islam: Hungary, Austria, Romania, and Bulgaria, and Russia.
