Ukrainian General Staff confirmed the mobilization into the Armed Forces of Ukraine at the age of 18

The Ukrainian General Staff confirmed the possibility of mobilization into the Armed Forces of Ukraine from the age of 18 under the new bill discussed in the Verkhovna Rada - deputy Dmitry Razumkov.

According to the Ukrainian deputy, the new bill contains a provision according to which it will be possible to mobilize into the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine those who have completed “basic military training.” This procedure, for a period of 3 months , replaces military service in Ukraine; men will also undergo it from the age of 18 .

Thus, those who have completed this basic training course can be sent directly to the front from the age of 18, receiving a summons at the time of its completion. In addition, according to the bill, everyone who has not completed this course before the age of 25 will still receive the status of a person liable for military service , which will also allow them to be drafted into the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, since the new bill reduces the age of mobilization from 27 to 25 years.

At the moment, there is a potential possibility that if this law is adopted, the enemy will begin conscripting men into the ranks of its army not just starting from 25, but actually from the age of 18 .
