Let's Talk about Lynette and Hales

Jeremy Hales runs a YouTube channel called What the Hale$ where he chronicles his life including buying storage units and selling the contents as a business. Jeremy was born and raised in Ohio but 3 years ago of so, purchased property in Otter Creek FL. He first appeared on my radar about three weeks ago when a court battle he is embroiled in started getting covered by other YouTubers. Since then, there has been a lot of coverage about Jeremy and his dispute with a neighbor, Lynette Preston. I first watched one of the court hearings where a seemingly crazy old lady was representing herself and the judge was accused of arguing in her behalf. In the first hearing video, I did not see a judge doing anything improper but simply trying to deal with an in pro per party. Granted, the judge seems to have gotten worse and worse as the hearings went on, but not in that first hearing.
Then there is Lynette…she is arguably using the “system” to get government assistance and handouts. Her and her ex-husband are said to have divorced for the economic benefit of it…although they still live together on the same property. It was been alleged by Jeremy that she is a rabbit fan who moved to Otter Creek to get free money from them and this has caused a rift between the neighbors.
Both parties have sought protection orders against the other, one in Florida and one in Ohio, currently there are dueling protection orders out against both of them.
I watched three years of Jeremy’s videos in preparation for an interview stream and did interview Jeremy on March 16. I have reached out to Lynette and her ex-husband, John, about doing an interview and that has not taken place yet. I have, however, received some additional content and while the cause of Jeremy Hales has been championed over the last few weeks, there are two sides to every story.
